About Andrew L. Miser, Ph.D.

I am a professional coach who specializes in assisting baby boomer couples to design a shared life of passion, fulfillment and contribution.  I recently published a book entitled The Partnership Marriage: Creating the Life You Love…Together.

Working with couples both individually and in groups, I support clients in clarifying what is important to them, what they want to create for themselves and what actions they will take to fulfill the vision they have for their lives.

I am also an associate with Aduro Consulting, a consulting firm providing leadership and change for purpose-driven companies. I am also currently a course leader on the faculty of the Coaches Training Institute.

Prior to my training as a professional coach at CTI, I worked as a psychologist and marriage and family therapist in private practice.  I have a BA in Psychology from Colgate University, a Masters in Educational Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from The University of Connecticut.

I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, and the International Coach Federation.

I live in Boston with my wife and partner, Martha.  We have been married for 40 years.
